Google Maps review scraper
Paste a Google Maps place link and Comment Downloader collects its reviews, with stars and the reviewer's name, and exports them to CSV, JSON or Markdown. Sign in to Google in the same Chrome first: signed out, Google shows only 5 reviews.
Add to Chrome, freeCollecting and CSV export are free. 5 AI reports a month on the free plan.

What it exports
- About 200 reviews per run when you are signed in to Google
- Stars, reviewer name and the full review text, with "More" expanded
- Restaurants, shops, hotels and any other place with a google.com/maps/place link
Honest limits
- Signed out, Google shows a limited view with 5 reviews and no paging. Sign in to Google in the same Chrome to read more.
- Review dates are not collected yet.
- Comment Downloader opens the place in a small window and scrolls the reviews, about 2 seconds per scroll. If Google shows an unusual traffic check, the run stops and says so. Nothing is solved or bypassed.
- Chrome asks for permission once, the first time you collect from google.com.
How it works
- Sign in to Google in Chrome.
- Open the place on Google Maps, copy its link, paste it into Comment Downloader and press Collect.
- Filter by stars, export to CSV or press Find angles.

More than an export: the angle report
Exporters stop at the spreadsheet. Comment Downloader reads the collection for you and writes a report where every line cites the comments that prove it.
Pains, desires, objections, ad angles, hooks, audience profiles and short UGC-style ad scripts, in your market's language. Example: "the straps dig into my armpits" becomes the objection behind an ad angle, with the quotes linked.
Or ask Claude or ChatGPT
Add Comment Downloader as a connector and ask in plain words, for example "collect the comments on this page and give me 5 ad angles". Your assistant asks your Comment Downloader extension to collect, in your own Chrome.
